It's disappointing to many, but it seems you as an America citizen didn't have much idea of how America constitution works. there is a sounds reasoning ground for this decision. The whole idea is that federal government has limited right to institute the whole country, the states are allowed to make certain decisions.
I don't know why you feel so sad, California is totally fine. You could still have abortion there. If you are concerned about people in other states, they could move.
Certainly. My point is that we should remember how trivial that debates and disagreements we have about data are in comparison to issues like these, which include both how the country litigates women's rights and how tech companies treat women. I'm obviously someone who indulges in more than their fair share of conversation about the more inconsequential topics, so consider it a reminder to myself as much as anyone.
I fail to see how a body of nine unelected officials, appointed to their positions for life, who have the ability to overrule the will of the people based on whatever ramshackle legal reasoning they want, is democratic.
I really appreciate that you posted this - I love that you didn't let this pass without acknowledging it. Appreciate your writing, man.
Thanks, I really appreciate that.
Tragic. And I'm afraid likely the tip of the iceberg. Frightening.

Please remember that what you call "our comfortable industry" is just your interpretation of this industry that is frankly quite awful to women.

And yet you fully support this system do you not?
No? I exist in it, and am in many ways a beneficiary of it, but if I had the power to decree it to be different, I'd like to think that I would.
Is this to say that you do not support democracy, our most sacred institution?
