Yeah, there are so many ways that you could take something like this. This was one of times when I kept playing around - does prompt length matter? does it use more exclamation points when you're nice to it? - that I had to cut myself off to make sure I actually wrote the post about it.
Which, one more thing that this comment made me think (and I'm not sure how I got there from here, but, there I went) - I wonder if you could have different variants compete. It'd be like, write a Python function that does this thing in a few characters as possible, and see which tone can produce the best result. (Maybe that's our survival tactic too - to keep the machines from fighting us, make them fight each other.)
